Dr. Jamie L. Berringer, a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, has practiced in Pittsburgh, PA and has brought her successful practice to the Dublin area.
Dr.
Jamie is a 2003 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, in
Davenport, IA. While there she was selected to participate in the
"Palmer Clinic Abroad Program" where she was awarded with a certificate
to show that she provided humanitarian chiropractic care and service to the people of Manaus, Brazil.
"I
hold this honor very seriously because of the fact that many people of
Brazil do not have access to basic medical supplies, let alone,
specialty care."
She worked for a few chiropractors in Pennsylvania before starting her own practice in Pittsburgh in 2004. She moved to Ohio in May of 2006 where she worked for a chiropractic group but feels more comfortable as owner of her own clinic, so in June 2007 she established Dublin Family Chiropractic, Inc.
Dr. Jamie believes in providing "chiropractic care for the entire family, one spine at a time." She
has volunteered at the Babies-R-Us "Super Baby Shower" to educate
pregnant mothers about the natural benefits of chiropractic. She is
also interested in the physical therapy aspect of chiropractic and
suggests exercises to strengthen and stabilize the spine after
adjustments to improve correction of misalignments faster and more
efficiently. A seminar in Cincinnati helped her further this interest
by offering techniques for extremity adjusting (for joints other than
the spine)! Another interest is that of Sports Chiropractic.
In
2017, Dr. Berringer obtained the postgraduate designation of Certified
Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) by the American Chiropractic Board
of Sports Physicians. This instruction is specific to physical fitness
and the evaluation and treatment of injuries encountered in sports.
April graduated from the Spa School in
2005 with a certification in Esthetics. She then went on to pursue her
Associate's degree in Massage Therapy from Columbus State in 2011. She
has advanced her specialty in massage by becoming certified as a
Cervical Pain Specialist in 2014. She then became certified in Massage
Cupping in 2016.
As a massage therapist, she specializes in
Deep-Tissue/Trigger Point Therapy, working to release "knots" in the body
and giving tips to avoid stressors that negatively affect the body.
